| I've had a thorough read of the documents from 2008, and a couple of points immediately jump out. 1. At no point does the 2008 plan specify a percentage that should be residential on this site. 2. The notion that this site is not significant as a retail site is based on the new retail space available elsewhere. What new retail space you may ask, well here's a funny thing: The 2008 plan envisaged redevelopment of the Morrison's site between 2015 and 2018, AFTER the completion of the redevelopment of the south side of the High Street between 2011 and 2015. |
