| You see, Bela, this is what you come up against when you try and take a genuine concern in your local environment. You get accused of being in league with Ann Keen. It was perfectly reasonable for you to contact Ann last August to help with your campaign (just as you contacted local Lib Dem councillor Andrew Dakers) because Ann is, after all, your democratically-elected MP. But Paul Fisher, Phil Andrews and other ICG councillors do not approve of people getting help from Ann. The reason? Because Ann (quite rightly) raised her concerns about Phil's long-term past involvement in the National Front when the Conservatives appointed him to an influential post in the council cabinet. That's why all of this bullying goes on - whereby Ann is smeared, lied about (and even has her political opponents encouraging squatters to take over the house that she herself paid for out of her own money ten years before she entered Parliament). I say: let's not give in to the bullies. I wish you well in your non-political campaign, Bela. I and my friends occasionally visit Gunnersbury Park museum and Mela and hope you succeed in keeping as much of the land for public use as possible - and that your campaign is strengthened by as much support as possible from people of all parties and none.
