| It appears that the Council have allocated taxpayer funds to the tune of £5.45 million to the project £2.5 million of this is intended for legal action to remove the Community of boat owners from Watermans Park instead of talking to them. Which would be the most cost effective and socially responsible way forward. Sadly, the Council is bereft of any such responsibility and is happier to waste tax payers money on punitive legal action. Our proposal is totally self funded and would include all of the boat community with an immediate revenue stream to the Council coffers. |
