| There must be something about concerned Brentford residents, that they are willing to invest so much thought, time and creative energy into coming up with positive practical schemes for areas, instead of just decrying those advanced by commercial interests. The Brentford High Street Steering Group, for example, was an outstanding group effort achieving a massively detailed and researched alternate proposal for the area south of the High Steet, that was nationally recognised. This alternative park proposal follows in the same vein. I can only wish it better luck than the alternate High Street scheme had. |
