| I suppose the Council would have to consider what sort of boat and what size mooring and how it would advertise or consider who should be allowed these moorings. Could be a case for social housing on a houseboat maybe with priority for ex river users? I am thinking the allocation and residential policies for this stretch of the riverbank should be done from scratch? A clean sheet of paper to place ideas on which protect the land, trees, park, access and serve the community of Brentford. Has anyone dug out the previous planning applications for this land? I clearly remember Councillors being absolutely thrilled at getting the old wall taken down to open the view up over the riverside so there must have been some values held in the view, at that time. |
