| To answer my own question, I have just looked at the plans on the Hounslow website and, provided they are the most recent, there is to be a step entrance/exit at the Kew Bridge end of the park. I can't say that I noticed this change when I went to the Waterman's exhibition and I am wondering how many other people took this in. I think it's a great shame to lose the walk through facility as is at the moment, particularly as it will entirely prevent those pushing prams, those using wheelchairs and some elderly full access to and enjoyment of the park and riverside. |
