| The problems are inherent to traffic engineers way of thinking, namely that if they say something should be - then it will happen that way. Er - no - it won't - you have to take into account drivers who do not drive as per the book and do daft things. I just wish someone would put their hands up and admit this has been an appalling example of how NOT to change a junction, no notice of works commencing, no warning signage, no contact 'phone nos. redundant notices not removed. It is so frustrating when actual users of the area get their valid concerns and complaints batted away as if they're a nuisance, it's the sheer arrogance of 'we know best' that sticks in my throat. |
