| Whilst I think the new roundabout works satisfactorily, the actual implementation has been a farce and I wholly agree with Vanessa on that aspect. As I've said about 10 times on this thread it was obvious to everyone (apart from those responsible for this project at LBH) that the initial implementation of the mini-roundabout would cause problems for northbound traffic unless properly signposted etc, and the problems we immediately pointed out turned out to be spot on, yet they took weeks to be rectified. And even then if you're heading northbound along Twickenham Road you'll still find two warning signs, one above the other, one warning of the bend ahead, the other erroneously saying right turn up ahead - this should have been changed to a roundabout ahead warning sign. How many times have I pointed that out now ?!. |
