The informal crossings are the tables across the road at the roundabout entry positions. As I biked through it tonight, I was pleased to see that much of the kerb realignment on the north side of the approach from Twickenham looked to be complete - although the consequence of this, until the new white lines go in, is that the old mandatory cycle lane gets squished into nothingness ! I suppose with the built-out kerb, there may not now be the need for a traffic island to limit the road width to a single lane entry to the roundabout.
