| You are probably right Adam. The roundabout needs to be fool-proof. I drive there every day and I am amazed by the number of drivers who prefer not to look at the actual road and road markings, but to rely on their old memories. Usually most of the traffic goes streight, taking the first exit, and still the drivers going streight try to make space to their right to allow others to take the second exit from the non-existent any more second lane. I always drive there in the centre of the new wide-and-only lane, leaving lots of space for cyclists in the cycling lane on the left, and no space on the right for those who still think there is a special lane for the second exit. |
