| Ian, Paul Fisher (a former ICG member now it seems re-converted) and Mr P. Andrews were members of the Executive during 2006-10. I dont recall their stated opposition to the matters you mention. Post their departure we continue to challenge and effect change. Mr Cox the former Chair of HEFTRA (now one of your candidates) left too leaving sheltered tenants unrepresented. Sterling work by my colleague Cllr Liz Mammatt and others by calling -in this matter on two occasions, led to the tenants concerned acknowledging the valued support from the Conservative LBH Cllrs and a new agreed representation being introduced. We also during 2014 discovered a number of LBH empty houses where because they had been empty for so long- 2 plus years, LBH pays itself council tax at the premium rate of 150%. Cllr Collins then a Member of the Hounslow Homes Board thanked us for establishing this appallingly wasteful situation. Regards |
