Win or lose this election I intend to continue investigating this Council whenever I believe there is a chance that it may have behaved improperly. It is probably no comfort to you, but I want you to know for the record that the object of my enquiries was never you nor any member of your family, but the local authority. I'm afraid you just got caught in the crossfire. Inadvertently you have just provided me with a good example of the kind of thing I want to see an end to with your reference to my two Freedom of Information requests. An FOI request is supposed to be a private item of correspondence between complainant and recipient. I don't recall ever sending you a copy - do who did? |
