“Phil Andrews - what have you done to help the people in Isleworth?” Phil Andrews has done a great deal for the people of Isleworth. Anyone who cares for the community they want to serve would be well aware of all those achievements. Most notable was Mr Andrews’ founding of MRAG, along with Hanifa Dobson, which culminated with hauling Thames Water into the High Court of Justice and residents of Isleworth, Twickenham, St Margaret’s, Whitton and Hounslow South being awarded substantial Ł damages when the Judge found Thames Water guilty of mismanagement and negligence at Mogden. Residents across two Boroughs can only thank Phil Andrews for his tenacity in committing to community engagement which enabled the Group Litigation to go forward and win awards for, not only his constituents, but others too. This achievement of Mr Andrews is to be congratulated and the people should be grateful for his hard work on this matter as the Labour Administrations of three decades turned a blind eye to the problems at Mogden and did nothing about it. Perhaps the UKIP candidate can advise us how she and her UKIP / LABKIP Group will tackle Thames Water and The Borough of Hounslow Environment Dept in the future? |
