| This is an interesting little debate It seems to me that the idea of a conspiracy between the Labour Party and UKIP to deprive the Isleworth Community Group of the so-called "protest vote" in Isleworth is rather far fetched. Whether we like it or not, UKIP, like the Conservatives, Labour, the Lib Dems and the Greens, is now a national political party - at least in England - and understandably feels entitled to run candidates in whatever wards and constituencies it wishes to do so. |
