People do change their views over time Huw. Goodness knows I am more aware of this than anybody. But Sharon Smith must have changed hers since last Saturday afternoon, when she was telling everybody within earshot in a Twickenham public house that she "don't give a f*** about UKIP" and that she was "doing it for Sue". No I cannot substantiate that (yet), but I believe that with my blog post I've made the case sufficiently for anybody with anything approaching an open mind. If I was a free-thinking Labour supporter I would be concerned about an allegation that my party of choice was working hand in glove with a party that believes Lenny Henry should go and live in a black country and whose first choice of candidate believed himself to be the Antichrist and that gay people should be banished to an island. That certain of this local party's most regular apologists on this forum apparently aren't rather says it all. Please forgive me if I don't respond to every posting, but I have a (clean) election campaign to help manage. Thanks. |
