| I think it is the Community Group that has low ambitions. If it really wanted to change things in Hounslow and win control of Hounslow Council, it would need to field candidates in most or perhaps all wards in the Borough. Instead, it only fields candidates in two or three wards hoing to rely on a protest vote against Labour and the Conservatives to get candidates elected. In contrast, the Conservatives are fielding candidates in evey ward in the Borough and are hoping to have enough candidates elected to win overall control of the Council. The number of people employed is now the highest ever in the history of this country. Unemployment is coming down. Interest rates are low. Inflation is low. People are feeling optimistic about the economy and happy with the way the Conservative-led Government is running the country. We now need a Conservative Council in Hounslow to replace the wasteful, insensitive, incompetent and ineffective Labour administration that has closed badly need Day Care centres for senior citizens and presided over a number of fiascoes such as those in Hounslow Homes and Hounslow Highways. |
