| The wheelie bins are council property. If they are left on the pavement and someone or thing has an accident as a consequence the liability lies with the owner of the bin. LB Hounslow. That's why it has to be a bin with that branded on it. It confirms the liability. However if the bin falls on something or someone from inside your boundary, you are liable to be sues for damages and would then have to try and claim your losses off of the council. So far Amrit Mann has not answered a single question from residents. Nor has his pal Bassam Mahfouz who both sit on the West London Waste committee. These two regularly hold the meetings and invoke excluding public and press - far more than other waste authorities. Something smells - worse than a 2 week old wheelie full of XXXX. |
