| Simon does not have a good point. He has a point. He refers to the consequences of the Home Office not being fit for purpose. They have contributed quite substantially in my opinion to housing shortages and overcrowding due to disgraceful mismanagement of the flow of immigrants. The Labour party will never be forgotten for this, as the rate at which change has been allowed to happen can be laid at their door. Simon also refers to the consequences of both parties having failed to meet housing demand over the decades. This failure combined with the increased rate of immigration puts Labour sharply into focus as the real baddy. Pity Prescott did not listen to himself and build the homes he said he would. But don't ever tell me that the law should be changed so some jobsworth could prise people out of their homes (I did not say dwellings). The idea could spread like a plague. |
