| I rest my case! Some twerp at the council gives everyone a band, based exactly on what is anyone's guess. Band A means you are at least in with a shout Band D means you will most likely be dead before anything gets offered. I have read some of the criteria for the banding system but, frankly, it does not appear to be applied evenly or fairly. Anyone who knows how to work the system will probably have a higher band than someone with a genuine need. That said, someone willing and able to give up a 3 bed home for say a one bed or sheltered accommodation, who is left in situ without being offered anything (if that is the actual case) simply hghlights what an absolute farce it all is. |
