| What Annoys me is people who are in Large Properties who do not need them no longer but refuses to Move out and give a Family in need a chance For Example I have a cousin who lives in Plymouth occupying a 3 Bedroom council house on his own who is hardly in the House. Basically it was his Families home his younger Siblings grew up moved out Leaving him, My aunt and Uncle but my Aunt dies 10yrs ago then 8yrs ago My uncle had a couple strokes and has Alzheimer's so is in a home so my Cousin remained in the 3 Bed Council house, the rent and council tax is paid 4 him. A Friend and Neighbour off his has a daughter with children over crowded about 10mins from his House and she asked if he would do a swap plus some cash (its a Nice 2 bed newly built flat) but he Refused and said there is NO WAY i am giving up my house. The council say they cant do anything but i feel Councils should have more Powers in such Cases. |
