| She did not stop any Council from building new homes she just gave existing council tenants at the time the right to buy there homes, there has been no legislation for Council's not to build Council Houses themselves they chose not to and farmed it out to Housing Associations at the taxpayer's cost. Consequently the majority of New Housing is now owned by Housing Associations, What? Benefit is that to either the Council or to the tax payer. |
