Every time I walk round Ferry Quays it's like a ghost town. I rarely see any people given the number of flats on the site. Does anyone actually live in these flats? I understand even the dentist in that area fails to attract that many patients. And all those houseboats crammed in that little 'marina' which is not much bigger than a duck pond just makes me laugh. And makes me feel sorry for the wildlife that used make that area its winter quarters. Ferry Quays was always overpriced for this area. As was Holland Gardens and so will be the new blocks. I think Adam's being a bit precious. Of course Adam will be hopping mad once he finds out his view of the Thames will be obscured from his pad when planning permission is granted to redevelop the waterfront site from the old Max Factor offices right down to the Irish pub opposite the Jet garage. |
