That small play area at the back of St Lawrences Church ... has been created on top of many hundreds of graves I understand.
Whilst some 800+ graves and headstones closer to the Church building ... were uplifted and moved to semi-distant Brookwood Cemetery on the Surrey/Hampshire borders
the bodies of deceased persons from the Brentford Workhouse and other institutions were laid to rest ... in bulk sadly... at the south side of St Lawrences estate there!

It's been allowed to happen ... right under our noses!
