Estate agents in Brentford survive on lettings business rather than the sales market as the secondary market is more or less dead. Ballymore have tied up the primary market for the units in the Brentford Project but they nevertheless seem to be selling quickly when they become available. The problem with housing starts seems to be that affordable housing providers are really struggling with well-meaning new regulation and this is holding up development overall. If it gets built it gets bought because yields remain attractive. The problem in the Brentford Project doesn't appear to be residential but retail occupancy. |
