| Bizarrely, we have the opposite problem: we don’t eat any fast food, or supermarket pre-prepared food, at all. We’re constantly on the search for top quality ingredients and it’s a massive frustration that we can’t get what we need on our doorstep. This is why the wholefood supermarket at Kew Bridge is a very welcome addition, if a bit of a traipse - especially if it’s raining. I have recently given up Amazon - my reasoning doesn’t really require any explanation. (Although the cherry on the cake was his ambition for all his employees to wake up terrified every day. Those are the words of someone mentally unwell and I don’t want to heap further pressure on his staff.) The fast food delivery drivers aren’t having a great time either. Hurrah for the gig economy, eh? |
