Personally, I fell it's the being a member of a political party and the overbearing of all political parties that stuffs up almost everything they meddle with. I lost all confidence in out electoral system but more the party system and it's ways of conning the electorate and the inane manifestos. Gospel when it suits and equally forgotten when it suits. I do admite those very , very few who get elected and stand vigilant up to the party machine but looking at how nasty they all are to their own and how they behave like a collective is the same whatever. And at the end of the day councils are having way too much influence and control of ordinary peoples daily lives and existence. I may not share the same views as those who stand independently but do respect them for making that effort as long as they too are clear and open about what they stand for . As for Morrisons, it was the sale of the site long before their lease expires from under their noses without Morrisons being able to bid for the site along with a rather buried in the records change of use for the site brokered on the quiet by a Director of Regeneration. I recall Morrisons went to litigation over some aspects of that and this was years before the lease expired. |
