| If the Church St. closure lobby were sincere then they wouldn't have dragged Ruth into this - by using her photo and quote in their presentation arguing for permanent closure. Cleverly they've used people for their own ends and now they've got their way are busy trying to pull the chestnuts out of the fire. I think the Church St. lot are just grabbing at straws - I can't think of any other local political party who has even passed an opinion on Church St. Why would you when Labour councillors are buggering it up so well themselves? The fact remains a lot of what has gone on has been cloaked in some secrecy - this 'Inspiring Isleworth' outfit being a prime example - I've asked umpteen times who they are, who set it up, what is its purpose, do they have a proper constitution, and what are the links to Church St. markets? Answer came there none. |
