In his blog, Guy defends his voting for closure of Church Street stating that "Cllrs sometimes have to take awkward decision and this was one of them" What on earth was so difficult about this decision? The huge majority of people clearly wanted the road to be opened so - an easy decision isn't it? Job done. Does he mean it would be awkward to oppose his Leader or someone living in Church Street or what? God help us if this man ever does need to take an 'awkward' decision that effects thousands of lives. When will Hounslow Labour Councillors ever get to understand democracy! |
