It's not just this issue. She sat on the fence over the disgraceful double standards on the redevelopment of the Morrisons site which will have dreadful implications for the whole of Brentford and its locals. Unlike Councillors and those who are on planning committees an MP can express an opinion and plenty do. Especially on issues like developments. I for one have been a big fan of Ms Cadbury, but she has sided with the easy issues and sat on the fence too often for the issues which have irritated the locals in the face of a clearly warped council and need an MP to speak up and at least take the issues to the government and seek changes. With her ancestors legacy on proper decent housing for working people is still one of the better achievements with housing in the UK and I would have thought that alone would be good enough reason to not allow the shameless naff developments that pass for housing in this district. |
