| Exactly - Ruth's letter says she stayed neutral and was not supporting either view. I agree she should make that public, but as for her so-called 'colleagues', with friends like them who needs enemies? The 700 odd against this closure could make all the difference when you consider that number are probably confined to a fairly smallish area. The Church St. crowd used her photo and the 'win-win' quote as part of their powerpoint presentation to IBAF, what with that and the questionable - to put it mildly - stats on traffic numbers and pollution etc. from various officers, the whole thing has been predicated on half truths and wishful thinking. |
