The huge recycling unit installed several years ago at great cost was quickly abused by visitors...and some time ago use there were restrictions and it lost it's magnificence.
This picture, taken a month ago, shows an odd scene..neat piles of waste in front of the semi-redundant machinery. What was that all about.
But this week that machinery has disappeared. Is the facility about to close..or be upgraded.
In the meantime the small recycling bins outside Gladys Store on the London Road will do for my bundle of newspapers.
