| There is a point that some old town centres are over-pubbed such there is a one within easy sight of the other in a small stretch of road,eg Brentford High Street or Isleworth South Street. Howvever,I have been shocked by the decline and fall of the Isleworth County Arms,which was about the only non-dwelling building in its vicinity and is now being bulldozed. One wonders why locals are willing to neglect and witness the decline of a place which could have been the centre of the community round there. |
