| Staggers me to be honest that the Albany hadn't closed before. I've only been in afew times (solely on the times when LBH staff were doing the annual Brentford pub crawl) and apart from us it always seemed largely empty, and suffice to say from their appearance and demeanour I didn't exactly 'take' to the regulars. I know it goes against the grain of many posters on here but personally I don't generally bemoan the loss of pubs, I largely think they are largely relics of a different social age, and there are simply far too many left than demand justifies. |
