| Guy You still dont get it. You are there to represent our views not your own. In a time of financial crisis our Council's first priority should be making the residents lives easier, not causing traffic jams and polluting streets with stationary traffic and wasting money on consultants. We have old,sick and infirm people in this borough who cant heat their homes or afford proper food. This money should have been spent on our community, not consultants or contractors. You refer to me getting another chance in 2026 - well dont worry, I wont be standing. I well noted while delivering 4000 leaflets that I as an indipendant had no chance against the big party machines and that in Brentford all you have to do is stick a red rosette on a donkeys arse and it will be voted in. Worse still, the Conservatives who contested the seat did not even have enough respect for the people to turn up and hear the results announced. I and many other residents would have far more respect for you if you said: 'yes, sorry - I made a mistake and took my eye off the ball', rather than insist it was the right decision. |
