| If Swyncombe Avenue was blocked up then I would avoid it entirely. It was made Busier by the Daft LTNs put in by Ealing effectively blocking all routes from Boston Manor to Northfields but it was mainly the major works on South Ealing Road and the other LTN which brought heavy traffic to Little Ealing Lane and Northfields ave. But, These disastrous LTNs were finally removed after not one but two huge demonstrations by local people , all affected in one way or another. Swyncome Ave reverted to what is was and was built as, an average through route which is not anything like you describe. But acceptable is making two B roads roads NOT built for heavier traffic endure a huge increase in traffic and far worse. And where is the verification of these traffic figures, when and how were they compiled? Does not seem to be findable. |
