I wonder if an open and genuine discussion has taken place with the emergency services.
Given the amount of occasions that I have seem Police cars and Ambulances having to westbound force vehicles onto the pavement to get access must mean this is a common occurrence.

Given that the A4 eastbound was still gridlocked at 10.30 today all the way to Gunnersbury for no apparent reason rendering Clayponds hospital inaccessible again and blocking any change of emergency access this remains the key route .
Which I noticed delayed several fire appliances to the junction of Ealing Road late afternoon on Monday .
