| I think that Guy Lambert has made it clear that he has no interest in supporting his constituents in this matter. It amazes me that these people continue to get elected when they ignore the clear views of those they should be representing to pursue their own agenda. Come the next election, we should examine the record of every councillor and vote off any that put their party and special interest groups ahead of the voters - this is regardless of party and should not be influenced by whoever is in power at the national level. With the work to make these road closures permanent only days away, we seem to have lost this battle - maybe we can win the war? |
