| Why oh why do the residents of the Syon Ward continue to allow the farcical situation of having Jason Ellar as one of their elected councillors? Since being elected he has only bothered to turn up for just a small handful of meetings and for the last year or so does not even bother sending his apologies so if there was ever a case of a councillor enjoying a ride on the gravy train of public expenses then he has to be the number one candidate We as residents are "paying" him nearly £12,000 every year for doing absolutely nothing for the Borough let alone the Ward he supposedly represents It really is a scandal but of course with his Father being the Deputy Leader of the Labour Group on the Council it is swept under the carpet and not even his colleagues will make waves |
