| Points taken, some agreed with and others less so. "Kicked off" is interesting - you kind of sidestepped a question about this, perhaps unintentionally, on another thread. There is definitely an inverse relationship between the amount of time one spends at the Civic Centre, at meetings with officers and attending often pointless functions on the one hand, and being a good ward councillor on the other. My performance as a ward councillor definitely suffered while I was on the Executive, and improved again during the last year when I stood down. I like to think I haven't "targeted" Jason, indeed my criticism was of his party for exposing him to the kind of attention he is receiving when he should be getting on with his studies without these unwelcome distractions. |
