Colin Ellar: “I am glad to announce that after these positive talks, Thames Water, as a good neighbour, has agreed to put these new improvements in place. As a council we are determined to do all we can within our power to improve the quality of life of our residents.” Thames Water Spokesperson: “We know that odour is major concern to people, and we will continue to work with the London Borough of Hounslow and residents' groups to explore new ways of managing this issue. Our new upgrade to the site is working well, with many parts of the works now covered and odour controlled. This should help reduce likelihood of nasty smells coming from our site.” Excuse the punn but are they taking the p**s? |
