Did the court hearing take place on 25th November ? And the Environment Agency have replied to me saying that it wasn't them that modelled how the expanded Mogden would be able to cope - they just accepted the figures provided for them by Thames Water : https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/mogden_stw_modelling_of_storm_di#incoming-451813 But I'm puzzled by the assumptions. The two versions differ by one assuming that the project increased the storm tank capacity - but I haven't seen anything that said that it had increased as part of the works. And one mentions that it takes account of September storms but does not record any overflow taking place in that September (they chose the typical year to be 1980 !)[September 1980 contained the wettest day ever known at the Met Office when it was in Bracknell, but I haven't found the London rainfall data yet to tell me if the storm passed over the Mogden catchment area). |
