I've worn out shoe leather in and around this end of London for the best part of two decades. I chose to live here, in the full knowledge of what I was getting into- football club and all. For what it's worth, I bought somewhere to live, not to turn a quick profit. I aim to stay- it's a great place. Sami's Spice has very good, reasonably priced food provided by some of the nicest people you're likely to meet. But the former Dew Drop can hardly be described as cheerful. It's a matter of opinion. If you think Brentford is brilliant and nothing about it could be improved, that's an opinion too. Personally, I think a couple of better restaurants would add to the charm, not take it away. I think that's being positive. Unfortunately, if I express an opinion, all I seem to get is a lecture about how I can always get a terrific burger, provided I wait until Tuesday. |
