| It may have escaped your notice but quite a few of previously council owned houses have been sold under Right to Buy and then in many cases sold on again. Crap behaviour is NOT solely confined to council housing tenants in spite of the ill-informed and biased b/s that people like you like to perpetuate. Many of these properties are bought by buy to let landlords who actually don't give a rat's a*se about the local residents or community. As long as they get their (exorbitant) rent they don't give a stuff what their tenants are like. Councils on the other hand are, by and large, very good landlords with powers they can use where there are anti social tenants. |
