| Labour ran the Borough Council for decades and bungled along. We gave the Conservatives a shot at running it, and welcomed they change, but they failed miserably by allowing senior officers to walk all over them. They had every opportunity to cleanse the rot but were content to let it well and truly set in. The Conservatives have much to answer for by allowing Hounslow to top the Rotten Boroughs listings and even as an opposition they are wet, weak and ineffective. They will never listen, they will never learn. |
