| Agreed. The picture was taken by me on 1st June 2006 over six years ago. It is located in Thornbury Road..within the Osterley and Spring Grove Ward. It was used on this thread as an example of what has been happening. I travelled past the building again this evening and noted that the awful brickwork has been removed and come ugly wooden framework has replaced it. My companion remarked how terrible it looked. Blatant disobedience...and what's a £2750 fine to these dishonorable scoundrels? Last evening I sat next to an Indian /Hindu elder at the Hounslow Volunteer Awards event. Of course I quizzed him. "After your 40 years in business..why don't you go into politics" I asked him. "They're all liars" he said! I then told him about the fibbing Mayor and his denial of having any knowledge of the planned "Pole Dancing till 3" extention at his Hounslow West Night Club. I'd heard from the DJ's mother that the Mayor WAS involved. "Yes" my Hindu friend said.."I know all about that" I then quizzed him about the Councillor who knew nothing about his son's dumping of 1000 tons of rubbish at Heston Service Station... even though they both lived in the same house. Agreed the Councillor might not have been aware..but the Judge described the son as the biggest liar he'd met. "Yes", I know all about that said my Hindu friend. "They're all liars" he said again.. Should we take heed? The Heston Residents' Association continues to struggle against blatant acts. |
