| That’s probably true, although no doubt Watermelon Lambert would disagree. It’s well known that councils are incapable of ever getting a good deal on anything, largely because the people negotiating these contracts are either not up to the job or think public money isn’t something to be looked after. You see it with refuse contracts, where one year it’s in house, the next not. Just a money go round for the paid officers who need to justify their salaries. |
