| Well Simon - you do seem to be rather forgetful. Criticism is always best when it is constructive. I don't buy anything from Amazon and haven't done for years. It is possible but harder but cheaper and better if you can still find other sellers - especially for some things like threads and materials where you need to match them properly and to see the quality of what is being sold. Lots of things are changing including air travel becoming cleaner and less noisy. Since we gain 10 x as much income from tourism than from selling bits of planes to Israel perhaps we should join Spain and the other countries in the UK and start introducing a tourism tax especially in London. Tourists account for an awful lot of the foreign languages spoken in our streets - not illegal immigrants as I have recently heard being bandied about. And many of us can't even be bothered to learn any foreign languages or speak our own well - no wonder we are feeling left out and behind. |
