| Regardless of where the blame lies there is now a genuine problem with Lime bikes and how they are ridden, and where they are dumped. BBC London reported tonight about chef Aldo Zilli's mother in law suffering life changing injuries after one of these machines was ridden through a red light in Lewisham and hit her as she crossed the road. The police said they couldn't prosecute because Lime told them they had contacted the wrong department to find out who was using the bike. They aren't very comfortable to use, cost a lot of money to hire and do very little in terms of improving health since it's barely active travel. Try walking, which is free and better for you. |
