| I am totally disgusted by the cost of hospital parking and think it should be free! For the sick and bereaved it is like rubbing salt into their wounds! In cases of emergencies remember to take your belongings and a bag full of cash for the parking! When you get there instead of concentrating on the injured you are worrying about the parking and whether you have enough money on you to pay it! In 1 day the parking at west mid has cost Debbie and I £20, we are feeding the parking meters instead of our children! What about the elderly, poor families and those on benefits! Even the staff are forced to pay these fees. If you park down the other roads not only is it impossible to find a space, annoys residents but your car is likely to be vandalised. Isn’t it shameful enough that the people of Britain have to endure the horrendous waiting times of our national health system but to add further insult to injury, pay a fortune to park our cars when we are sick!!!!! How can we abolish hospital parking fees? |
