| Ina I think that able bodied people seem to lump all disabled people into two categories, there either old and cannot walk or young out of work and on benefits. But some hold down good jobs and want to be apart of the normal community and pay their way own in life. The Blue Badge scheme in my opinion isn’t to avoid paying parking charge but to give a disabled person a decent chance of parking near a Bank or Retail outlet where there is no parking provided near by. There are quite a few car parks on the south cost that charge Disabled drives, but at very reasonable rates, which most do not mind paying |
